On Thursday 18th June I was riding from Liverpool eastwards along the route and came across some youths, all dressed in black with face coverings. It was a warm summer's morning around 11am, so they were somewhat inappropriately dressed for the conditions. They had with them and e-bike. I am from a law enforcement background so was immediately concerned about them following me with a view to being robbed.
Their attire and the e-bike fits descriptions of the Modus Operandi used to rob cyclists.
Their exact location was just before the Silver Jubilee bridge Widnes in a seating area where they were smoking weed, which was probably why I wasn't followed.
Just for you to be aware.

Russell, I don't know if you are genuine, but this is a help forum for users of CT, not general cycling discussion. Off-topic posts can make spammers more difficult to spot.
