I like this ride when not much time but I want to streych the legs. The ride takes me over the South downs and on a sunny day like today it has great views upto the North downs and back across Brighton Shoreham and Worthing to the sea. Painting the stairs and landing in the morning and needed a couple of hours btween coats. The journey time was a bit extended today as i had a puncture about 2/3 rds of the way around. Head wind on the way back but still a nice ride.
New to road riding for the sake of it and planning a short cycle tour in the summer. Have been a mountain biker for a long long time but am now feed up with the mud and worn out parts ( the bikes and me ). Now got myself a decent road bike, well tourer come X and stretching my legs on the local roads. So a litle trip over to Arundel and back, nice route and will do it again but the other way around.
