Mobile Phone - Bottom of screen display

Hi Richard,
I think this may have been raised before, but is it possible while on a route to turn off the footer display Distance/To go/ETA/Elapsed?
The display takes up quite a lot of screen real estate, particularly in landscape mode.
Keep up the good work. Still loving the app :)
Cheers, Frank

cycle.travel wants to turn on bluetooth

Hi folks,

When I turn on the app (Android - Sony Xperia 10 iii) I get the message:
‘cycle.travel wants to turn on bluetooth’ – Deny Allow.
I just click ‘Deny’ and it goes away.
I never use Bluetooth so I’m wondering why I get this message. I can’t find anything in Settings to stop it.
No biggie, but I’m just wondering if anyone else has encountered this.

Still loving the app Richard!

Offline Map - Android App

Hi Richard

Great (fundamental) to be able to have a map on one’s smart device without having to use a data connection. However, having downloaded various map blocks it appears that they only render in cycle.travel map style and not the other map styles (Satellite, Ordnance Survey, etc).

Is that correct or have I got that wrong? If correct, do you have plans to enable ‘Offline Map’ to render in the other available map styles?

Thanks, Frank

Postcode 'Where to ...?'

Hi Richard,

Apologies if it's already been covered somewhere but do you intend to give the app the ability to search and start from/go to a postcode in the same way as the desktop version?

App still going great!

Great level of detail

Just one initial observation on the level of detail that has been put into this fantastic app. The blue direction arrow is in a white circle so it is clearly visible and doesn't merge with the route. Just excellent 👍.
