Cant route down Bridle path ??

hi 

having lots troubles using this as cant seem to make any routes always the route jumps over the paths i want to go down and route me somewhere else .

so how can i route down these known bridle paths - they are marked as bridle paths on open street and open cycle maps and ordanance survey, and i have used them before  - is there way to manually continue my route so can get back to where it allows me to work ? otherwise impossible to make routes , this is 3-4th time tried to make a route down my local bridlepaths and does not allow me to ??

How to show up Bridle Paths and delete footpaths

Hi 

Just wondering to make easier is there a way to unclick the footpaths showing on the maps - as often tries to route me down footpaths - would be great if either bridlepaths show better or footpaths could be deleted from map altogether (a box i could click to just lose or hide footpaths) - is anything like this possible
