A. Over Norton local sights loop walk

Wander up Choice Hill, past the Village Hall to the view-point seat (views across towards the Neolithic/Bronze age Rollright Stones), back and past Gary's chickens and turkeys to Radbone Hill, then along Main Street to the Memorial and Grade II listed cottages, then on into Over Norton Park (managed for biodiversity by the Dawkins/Kettlewell family, including orchids and wild garlic in season). Cross the springs that emerge where Forest Marble meets Lias rock formations, and cut back to Quarhill Close (former stone quarry). Mostly well paved, but the part through Over Norton Park may be muddy with slippery slopes.

B. Over Norton and Chippy's ancient sites loop walk

Take the High Cleeve track with great views over Chipping Norton, then descent loop round via Pool Meadow (possible medieval fishpond), the Common (managed since olden times by the Field Reeves), St Mary's (11th/15th century 'Wool Church' , the Norman castle ruins, and back via Cleeves, which in olden times was the original road to Over Norton. Some parts may be quite muddy, with slippery slopes.
