Viehberg Tour | 314

www.schladming-dachstein.at/en/activities/tours/Viehberg-Tour-7C-314_tour_5823

This traditional MTB tour is one of the classics of the Schladming-Dachstein region and leads up through spectacular switchbacks in the so-called “Öfen” to the Viehbergalmen.

Expect impressive rock formations, wide alpine pastures, and a varied route through several valleys.

Please note: riding is permitted from May 01 to October 31, from 2 hours after sunrise until 2 hours before sunset.

Aich Tour | 311

www.schladming-dachstein.at/en/activities/tours/Aich-Tour-7C-311_tour_5820

You start at the village square in Aich and first ride across the Enns towards Weißenbach. There, you reach the Jumper Trail, which offers a varied descent. The trail costs €5 but is free with the Schladming-Dachstein Card.

After the descent, you return across the Enns to Ruperting. Here, the longer climb up to Gumpenberg begins. Via the Gumpental, the route continues uphill towards the Styrian Bodensee.

At the lake, it’s a perfect spot for a break or a quick refresh. Then follow the asphalt road towards Gössenberg and continue on to Galsterberg.

From Galsterberg, a fast descent leads down to Pruggern. From there, follow the Enns cycle path back to the starting point at the village square in Aich.

Panorama Tour | 305

www.schladming-dachstein.at/en/activities/tours/Panorama-Tour-7C-305_tour_5813

The tour begins at the Planai Stadium in Schladming and takes you through the Untere Klaus district and Birnberg to Ramsau. From there, the route continues past Gasthof Edelbrunn to Brandalm and finally to Türlwandhütte at an altitude of 1,750 meters – a perfect spot to rest with stunning views of the Dachstein.

The journey proceeds through the Ramsau alpine region to Bachlalm, past the Grahsteg Reservoir, and through Filzmoos to Mandlberggut.

From there, the route leads back through Mandling and Gleiming to Schladming, returning to the starting point.

Salzburg to Innsbruck through Rofan and Karwendel

www.outdooractive.com/en/route/gravel-bike/from-salzburg-to-innsbruck-through-rofan-and-karwendel/808945248/#dmdtab=oax-tab2

This 270 kilometer long tour connects Salzburg and Innsbruck on a route made for gravel bikes: it mainly goes over gravel roads, secondary roads, and bike paths. Especially spectacular is the crossing of the Karwendel mountains. Thanks to many accommodations along the route, the tour can be divided into daily stages according to your own preferences.
