Four wins! In this case, for example, an impression of the most beautiful end of the world, a cross-section of the Brandenberg Alps and, if desired, the bikepacking trip, which ends in the shorter version in Kufstein.
Tour character
Short and leisurely stage as a rest day or possible final stage. The tour leads through the Brandenberg valley and across the Alps of the same name, with only one significant ascent between well-distributed altitude meters about halfway. Beautiful route along the Brandenberger Ache and later smaller tributaries. With the finish directly at Kufstein railroad station, a return journey is even possible on the same day if you start early.

Easier version of the third stage, which leads on forest and asphalt roads through the Karwendel foothills and along the Sylvensteinsee lake. A leisurely route on which the 800 meters of altitude difference are really pleasantly distributed. Only towards the end does the route tend to climb more

Perhaps our favourite stage – if you’re in top physical condition and have excellent technique, we strongly recommend choosing the route through the Karwendel! With two challenging climbs, this route takes you through the mighty nature park, past mountain huts and waterfalls and over the Plumsjoch. You’ll need to keep a firm grip on the handlebars here – after all, we don’t want to take the name too literally!
Tour character
The difficult variant of the third stage leads deep into the wild Karwendel and requires very good fitness and safe riding technique with two striking climbs and 1,730 meters of altitude. Challenging passages on the Plumsjoch, partly on narrow trails, meet great natural moments: , the secluded location of the Karwendelhaus, a waterfall directly on the trail, the expansive Ahornboden and impressive views of Lake Achensee shape the character of this spectacular high mountain stage.

At Plansee, it’s almost impossible to pass by without stopping for a swim at one of the many coves. Just as well, as the steep climb up to the Ehrwalder Alm awaits a little later. Good news: if you’ve spent too long in the water (or simply want to save yourself a few metres of elevation gain), you can take the cable car to cut the worst of it short.
Picturesque stage past the fjord-like Plansee, one of Tyrol's most beautiful lakes with a steep ascent to the Ehrwalder Alm. Tip: for a more relaxed stage, the steepest part and around 400 meters in altitude can be shortened with the Ehrwalder Almbahn. The route then continues with only small climbs but mainly downhill through the beautiful, unspoilt Gaistal valley. A stop at one of the many mountain huts is recommended!

busy road ?
It’s important to ease into things. That’s why the first stage through the Lech Valley involves more downhill than uphill. With the babbling Lech on one side and the Lechtal Alps on the other, you could easily take your time and spend the whole day here (at least once you’ve made it over the Arlberg Pass)!
Moderate warm-up day with more downhill meters than uphill meters. A tough climb right at the start over the Arlberg Pass and then once again from Stuben up to Zürs. Don't be put off, because after that it's mainly downhill through the beautiful Lechtal valley to the Riedener See lake near Reutte with only a few smaller counter-climbs.
